The Environmental Club at Fields College has a long standing history of protecting the indigenous wildlife and trees on its grounds, as well as raising awareness generally about global environmental issues.

Typically quite small, this club is passionate about preserving our environmental heritage for future generations of learners by focusing on recycling and water awareness initiatives.  One of the ongoing projects the Environmental Club is driving is the identification and labelling of all trees on the school grounds.

All corridors and areas of the school have been named in honour of South African trees, fauna and birds and these beautiful signs are a sign of the school’s commitment and respect for our environment and its preservation.
